Must-haves für den Sommer!

Must-haves für den Sommer!

Must-haves für den Sommer!

(English version below)

Also unendliche viele Formen, Farben und Variationen. Einziges Manko: Auf Toilette gehen ist ziemlich mühsam.

5. Die Cut-out Boots

Jeffrey Campbell hat es vorgemacht. Cut-out Boots gehören in jeden Kleiderschrank.

Summer must-haves!

Summer is just around the corner. Do not be intimidated by the few droplets of rain, nicer weather will be coming very soon. Therefore, we have decided to introduce you to our favorite summer picks before the heat wave strikes town. Some of them you might already know from the previous year, but these beautiful pieces might never go out of fashion. After all, our beloved crop tops have accompanied us since the 1950s.

1. The Crop Top

Its ultimate hype came around the 1980s and 90s. From pop legend Madonna to scandalous Britney Spears, crop tops were everywhere and everyone wanted a piece of them! Until suddenly around the millennium our beloved summer accessory disappeared from the scene, but not for long. Almost two years ago it found its way back into the wardrobe of all fashion lovers. Since then, there are countless types of crop tops: with or without sleeves, turtleneck or cut-out neckline, as a bustier or made entirely out of lace. These cute tops can be combined with high-waisted skirts or shorts.

2. The Kimono

Originally, the word kimono comes from Japanese and means nothing more than „clothes“. But we love the fashionable variation of that caftan inspired garment. The hype started pretty much last year and since then they have been everywhere and they do not seem to want to go out of fashion very soon. So go get your own! Who doesn’t love them? Silky capes with floral prints? Adorable. Unfortunately, they do not offer a protection against evening summer breezes, but they look super cool and can be combined with almost anything.

3. The Playsuit/ Jumpsuit/ Overall

So many names for an exquisite piece. Originally, it refers to the utilitarian one-piece garments used by parachuters, skydivers and prisoners. But in the fashion world it means nothing more than one piece. It is available as shorts or pants, with or without sleeves, backless or high-necked. Well, as you see, there are an infinite number of shapes, colors and variations. The only drawback: toilet breaks are quite tedious.

4. The Silk Shorts

Yes, it’s true! We fell in love! Away from the close-fitting items and get out the comfy stuff! Comfortable does not necessarily mean unfashionable. Airy, light, silky shorts are an absolute must -have for summer. Whether plain or with prints, they can be easily combined with almost anything.
We like to combine it with bodies. My favorite is the black striped backless body from Asos.

5. The Cut-out Boots

Jeffrey Campbell has led the way. Cut-out boots belong in every wardrobe. But they are not just welcome during fall and spring, but also in summer. We fell in love with the alteration of cut-out boots: cut-out sandals. Whether with peep toe, or closed, they are all beautiful.

6. The Bikini

What’s summer without swimming and sunbathing? Bikini fashion changes faster than you can immagine. What was all the rage last year might be a no-go this year. Not really, but sometimes it seems as if one could no longer wear last season’s bikinis. Triangl is an Australian brand that enchants fashion lovers with their unique bikinis. In addition to daring cuts and prints, they also have simpler models, less likely to go out of fashion so quickly. Asos and Calzedonia offer the cheaper alternative to Triangl, with similar models and cuts. But a woman needs a wide range to choose from! The monokini from Oysho is a really sexy eye-catcher!
